Mrs. Kieonna Lane, IB Coordinator, shared this great news: “With the November IB exam retake results, the SPHS Class of 2018 officially has a 100% IB diploma pass rate! This is unprecedented!! I am extremely proud to work with such a talented and dedicated group of educators! Be sure to congratulate them when you see them 🙂 And spread the word, this is HUGE!”
The Hospitality team is restocking the IB office with teacher snacks, drinks and classroom supplies. Our teachers really enjoy these special treats! If you would like to help us, please send items to the IB office at your convenience.
Some teacher favorites are fresh fruit, granola/protein bars, individual bags of chips, pretzels, crackers and nuts, bottled waters, cans of diet/regular soda, La Croix, coffee k-cups for the Keurig, creamer and sugar packets, and of course chocolate and hard candies for the candy jars.
Also, the classrooms are in need of more paper towels, tissues, hand sanitizer, and sanitizer wipes.
Thank you for your support of teachers, students and our school!

The SPHS IB Booster Board is seeking volunteers who are interested in learning more about Advocate editor duties and eventually taking on the role. When our daughter graduates at the end of this school year, we will retire as co-editors of The Advocate.
It is a rewarding experience for those who like to edit, like to be involved, like to communicate, and who appreciate the benefits of sharing information. There also is a fun creative element of selecting pictures or clip art to highlight each article. It would be good for an editor(s) to be organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines that they set for themselves. (more…)

Our faculty and staff and families and guests of the seniors attend. Past pictures of the decorated venue are included below.
