Vivienne Dumas Wins Scholastic Art Award

Vivienne Dumas (IB Junior) traveled to New York City to participate in the Art and Writing Scholastic Competition awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall on June 6, 2018.  Vivienne submitted 5 pieces, and all 5 where recognized. Students win County and National Scholastic Arts Awards

IB sophomore Vivienne Dumas, a student of 2D Art Teacher Brianne Gates, won a National Gold Scholastic Art Award for her drawing of Florida Girls .  The reception will be June 7 in New York City at Carnegie Hall!

In addition, the work of 12 SPHS students was accepted and received awards in this year’s county-level Scholastic Arts Show. (more…)
