Ms. Aucremann’s duties will include oversight of the marching band which practices and performs from July through November, and the Concert Band which practices and performs from November through May.

Mr . Cameron Vaadi is leaving SPHS to pursue graduate studies at the University of Florida.

Join the Marching Band Program!

There many reasons why Marching Band has a long SPHS history. It has been a popular school activity because every band member contributes to its success. Of special note is that IB students always comprise a major portion of the band roster and band leadership positions.

In addition to band musicians, this year the band especially needs individuals interested in the performance color guard.

Join the Green Devil Marching Band and you’ll get:

  • Leadership skills (great for college applications)
  • Friends! (great for getting through life)
  • Training as a musician or color guard performer (who doesn’t want to get better?)
  • Satisfaction of exceeding your own expectations! (also 2 free t-shirts)
